SMSS

Sub miniature angle beam shear wave probe with a crystal size of Ø6.3 mm. This is a very small probe with forward index point. Fitted with a 2-meter integral cable and Lemo 01 connector as standard.

MMSS

Sub miniature angle beam shear wave probe with crystal size Ø6.3 mm. This is a low-noise version of the SMSS Probe.  The length of the probe is increased and the index point is further back from the front. It is fitted with a Subvis connector as standard.

BTP

Boiler Tube Probe (angle beam twin crystal shear wave probe). Designed for the inspection of boiler tubes. Small size and radiused (as standard) to suit 50 – 65 mm diameter pipe. The index point is near to the front of the probe in order to allow inspection up to the weld bead. It has two 4 x 5 mm crystals seated in a stainless-steel housing, fitted with integral 2-meter leads and Lemo 01 connectors as standard.  Also available with a flat probe face.
